Here we are again on the smartwatch topic. These wearables have become an integral part of our daily lives – there are so many brands and models that anyone can afford one. And most — even the cheapest — offer some sort of sleep tracking.
To keep track of your sleep, the said gadget needs to be with you at night (duh!). That immediately poses a few problems. First, your smartwatch or fitness band needs to be charged enough to survive the night (I’m looking at your Apple Watch!).
Second – not everyone is comfortable sleeping with a huge piece of metal (plastic, ceramic, you name it) strapped to their hand. I know I’m not. Time and again I’ve tried to find a smartwatch or band comfortable enough to sleep with, but to no avail.
On the other hand, I believe there are people who don’t mind sleeping with their watch on, whether we’re talking about a smartwatch or a regular timepiece. So today we’re trying to find those brave souls – who sacrifice their wrist comfort for the sake of digitally controlled wellbeing, and ironically – a better night’s sleep.
Do you wear your smartwatch or fitness band (or any tracker for that matter) to bed? How often? By the way, are you having issues with battery life or comfort? Vote in our poll and share your nighttime adventures (or not) in the comments below.
