Verizon surpasses AT&T by offering the best iPhone 14 Plus no trade-in deal to date

You probably already know that the least successful member of the iPhone 14 family is the Plus-branded 6.7-inch replacement for the similarly unpopular 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini from last year, but that’s actually not a bad thing for those on a budget Apple fans.

Both deals took the mandatory trade-in out of the equation, and while they still came with a ton of special requirements and exclusions, it obviously became incredibly difficult to turn down the classically notched Apple A15 Bionic powerhouse.
In order not to be outdone by the competition, Verizon seems to have discreetly improved its early holiday promotion from last month to not only match, but (barely) beat AT&T’s iPhone 14 Plus Christmas promotion.
New and existing Big Red subscribers willing to open up a new line of wireless services are now looking at spending a measly $5, $7.77 and $13.33 per month for iPhone 14 Plus units with 128, 256 and 512 GB of internal storage.
That’s with your choice of a direct or device payment purchase, mind you, but either way, the $720 savings will be applied to your account as a billing credit over three years. All in all the So iPhone 14 Plus will cost you $180, $280, or $480 in 128, 256, and 512 gig configurations, respectively, with no trade-in or port-in required.

By contrast, AT&T customers have to shell out $10 and $15 per month for 256 and 512 GB variants, respectively, so while certainly small, Verizon’s advantage over its arch-rival is certainly worth noting and considering.

Meanwhile, the entry-level iPhone 14 Plus model is just as affordable with both carriers, but to make that deal even more attractive, Verizon can also offer you a $200 gift card when you switch your number from another carrier, which effectively makes the non -Pro handset cheaper than free.

That’s certainly not bad for such a reasonably powerful mobile device with fairly capable dual rear-facing cameras, a decidedly gorgeous 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, solid battery life and exactly the same great software support as the much more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
