While many US airlines have started with: to raise the prices of older plans to force customers to switch to newer, more expensive plans, UScellular has just confirmed that its customers are protected against such tactics. The American airline announced today that all its postpaid and prepaid plans are price protected until 2023. That means that from today until at least December 31, 2023, the carrier has committed not to increase the price of customers’ tariff plans, regardless of subscription.
If you’re a US cellular customer, you don’t need to take any action for this to take effect, the provider announced. If you’re not already a UScellular customer, the new announcement may now make the carrier’s offerings more attractive.
