Are you one of those unlucky types who have a nasty habit of dropping their smartphones often? According to Duk Gear, 45% of phone owners break their phone. Usually this damage is done at home and usually within 10 weeks of purchase. Part of that is due to phone owners eventually getting tired of the case they put on their devices. They also get complacent, go outside without the suitcase on, and oops! The phone was dropped, the screen is cracked and the damage is done.
But the country’s largest airline is here to save you. From now until October 13, Verizon offers open enrollment to current and new customers for its Verizon Mobile Protect service. With this service, you get device protection, same-day delivery, and configuration for new and replacement devices. Want to have that iPhone 13 Pro Max, Galaxy S22 Ultra, or Pixel 6 Pro you bought from in your hands today, all ready to go? This is how it’s done.

If you have butterfingers, you have butterfingers. Verizon Mobile Protect only charges $29 for a screen replacement the first time and every time you crack the screen. Worried about how many charge cycles are left on your phone’s battery? You don’t even have to think about this with Verizon Mobile Protect because you’re covered for a free battery replacement! You can also “enjoy longer device life with deep cleanings and expert-led diagnostics to optimize speed, performance and battery life.”

In addition, subscribers get 24/7 access to digital security tools and privacy and expert support from Tech Coach. Your smartphone has never been so smothered with loving care. And all this will cost you just $14 or $17 per line per month, depending on the device used on that line. Payments automatically renew each month unless canceled. The fee is charged to your Verizon wireless account each month.

According to Verizon, “Your device is critical. We understand. That’s why Verizon Mobile Protect offers same-day delivery and setup for replacement smartphones and new devices purchased from Verizon. Plus, you get 24/7 access to digital security and privacy tools and expert support from Tech Coach.”

For $25 per month, Verizon customers can also subscribe to Verizon Home Device Protect. The carrier calls it “the last warranty you’ll ever need for your eligible home entertainment, home office, portable devices and more.” Subscribers also get security features and premium technical support.
After October 13, only phones that have been activated for 30 days or less will be eligible for Verizon Mobile Protect. So if you’re in the habit of dropping your phone and you’re a new or existing Verizon customer, you may want to sign up for the service before the open enrollment ends.
