The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition is launching internationally with a price tag of $2,000

As promised, the product of Samsung’s collaboration with Maison Margiela, a French pioneer of haute couture, has been shelved worldwide — more or less. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition is an exclusive limited edition bundle featuring a modified version of the iconic Samsung foldable, alongside a number of branded items. Earlier this week, the Korean tech giant posted an unboxing video on his official YouTube channel. Everything from the packaging to the accessories and the smartphone itself has been redesigned in light of the French luxury brand’s design language.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 now sports Margie’s signature white color and is emblazoned with the brand’s iconic “code”. For reference, the latter is Maison Margiela’s internal categorization of product lineups. The user interface has also been updated to match the new theme.

The number 11, which stands for accessories, is circled, indicating that the Flip is a real fashion piece. The bundle contains no less than 2 suitcases, both of which feature prominent design elements from Masion Margiela.

The leather case has been given a special coat of paint to reflect the brand’s aesthetic, while the second case comes with Maison Margie’s coding ring. Both covers are decorated with the 4 stitches that have become a symbol of the fashion house.

Funnily enough, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela actually comes with a charger in the box, as well as a USB-C cable. However, given the price tag, that’s not surprising. The bundle will cost potential buyers in Europe about €1,899 (the equivalent of about $2,000).

This is one of the few limited edition Samsung items available internationally. Typically, most of these types of bundles rarely come from South Korea. Still, there’s no indication when (or if) the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela will launch in the US.
