Price leaks for the European version of the Moto X30 Pro (aka Motorola Edge 30 Ultra)

The Moto X30 Pro is Motorola’s highly anticipated Android flagship phone with a reveal expected later this month. You could call this a “sweet” smartphone with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with an FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Under the hood you will find the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the latest and greatest Snapdragon Application Processor (AP), designed by Qualcomm and manufactured by TSMC.

The Moto X30 Pro will be the first phone with the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200MP camera sensor. The rear camera array will also feature a 50MP camera sensor and a 12MP camera sensor. Interestingly enough, it appears that the device will not be equipped with an ultra-wide angle camera. What the device offers is the fastest wired charging ever Motorola handset at 125W.

Today a tweet from tipster Nils Ahrensmeier reveals the latest rumors about this phone which could become a solid competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. First, Ahrensmeier notes that the name for the global version of the Moto X30 Pro will be the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. The tipster says the handset, with a 12GB memory and 256GB storage configuration, will cost €899 in Europe (equivalent to $902.49 at current exchange rates).

So far, it looks like the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (aka Moto X30 Pro) will be cheaper than the iPhone 13 Pro and the Galaxy S22 Ultra (with 12GB of RAM). Assuming the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has the same specs as the Moto X30 Pro, we wouldn’t be surprised if some consumers buy their first Motorola handset in years as the weather gets colder in the Northern Hemisphere.
