OnePlus 10/10T specs and new images leak: top display and processor, no Hasselblad camera

The next flagship OnePlus 10 model already appeared in its entirety, but now it’s time for the more modest OnePlus 10 (or 10T) sibling to shine in a new leak, alongside the specs and official press releases.

However, the design is quite reminiscent of the OnePlus 10 Pro that has been parading around the US shores for a while now, with the large square camera island merging transitions seamlessly into the frame on the right.

OnePlus 10T camera

The camera set consists of three modules: a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture using the ubiquitous Sony IMX766 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. Sorry, no zoom camera, but again, OnePlus had to differentiate the more affordable member of its 10 series somehow.

OnePlus 10T specifications and display

As for the rest of the OnePlus 10T’s specs, these include the excellent 6.7-inch 120Hz HDR panel that Oppo and OnePlus have been using for a while and generally earn their rightful place in our best phone displays ranking. These screens usually offer a dynamic refresh rate, as well as spot-on color rendering and gamma coverage that are only surpassed by Google’s Pixel phones.

Next in line is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which offers more power than the processor in say the Galaxy S22 series as it is clocked slightly higher. The phone comes in the usual configurations of 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

OnePlus’ new upper midranger would also positively surprise by including the incredible 150W fast charger that can top up the 4800 mAh battery by the time you’re done with your morning wash routine.

OnePlus 10T price and release date

According to Yogesh, the final design of the device will go into mass production in July, meaning the OnePlus 10T could be released as early as next month.

As for the price of the OnePlus 10T, it’s not expected to break the bank given the lack of a zoom camera, but since everything else will be top-notch, its predecessor’s $729 starting price could be slightly higher, inflation rampant of components and everything, but still stay under the $800 threshold.
