Official renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 may have been leaked

The countdown has begun. Samsung plans to release its highly anticipated fourth-generation Z-foldable smartphones. The Korean Tech giant is not shying away from teasing its fans with cryptic tweets ahead of the official launch. Some leakers even have a possible release date.

But even though the launch is still a few weeks away, renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has already flooded the internet. Some leakers even claim to have gotten their hands on official press releases from Samsung itself.

An example of this are the renders posted by pricebaba. The renders show the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in 3 colors: beige, blue and black. This ties in with the rumors about color options leaked a few weeks ago.

It should be noted that there is some room for doubt when it comes to the credibility of the above source. Nevertheless, given how close we are to the official launch, it’s entirely possible that industry sources already have renders of the Z Fold 4.

It’s safe to assume that all questions surrounding the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s design will soon be settled. For the time being, we expect a number of subtle, but at the same time substantial tweaks to the design of the device.

This includes firstly adjustments to the hinge, which should make the latter less voluminous. Second, an overall reduction in weight and thickness should also be in the cards. Finally, the Z Fold 4’s screen is rumored to have smaller bezels and a less noticeable fold (compared to previous generations).

Overall, it looks like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be more of a “sophisticated” generation rather than a “groundbreaking” generation. Nevertheless, practice makes perfect and we’ve certainly come a long way since the first Fold.
