Linode object cloud storage review

Written by admin

Linode has been a veteran of cloud infrastructure since 2003. It indicates it has a single focus on its infrastructure designed to serve its customers, and transparency in pricing with easy-to-understand costs. In fact, G2 has ranked Linode as the #1 IaaS provider.

Unlike some others, Linode is based on Jeff Dike’s User-mode Linux (UML), the technology that enables a virtual machine within a Linux operating system. That Linux DNA continues as Linode stays true to open standards and is vendor agnostic, with a view to democratizing cloud storage. Earlier this year, Akamai acquired Linode for approximately $900 million.
