Powered by a (slowly) aging Snapdragon 888 processor and equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery with a charging speed of 65 W, last year’s OnePlus 9 Pro may not seem like one of the best phones you can buy in 2022.
But in many ways this bad boy is still the all-rounder best OnePlus phone out there, getting much better reviews in 2021 than this year 10 Pro powerhouse and surpassing the grueling endurance test the sequel failed so badly. While the OnePlus 10 Pro is technically available at a lower starting price compared to the 9 Pro, unsurprisingly, the older flagship retails for a huge. “Black Friday in July” discount.
We’re talking a completely unprecedented $370 reduced for a limited time by Best Buy from an arguably outrageous list price of $1,069.99 in both Pine Green and Morning Mist shades. While basically the same exact deal is currently available from Amazon and the official OnePlus US e-store too, Best Buy is the only place where you can get both colors at a new low price of $699.99.
Carrier activation is not necessary to maximize your savings, mind you, and if you want to choose your mobile network operator right away, you’ll want to spend the full $1,069.99, which is… pretty absurd.
Of course, in theory Amazon could still roll out a better one Prime Day 2022 deal starting tomorrow, July 12, but if you’re not a member or just don’t think you’ll be able to save more than $370 anytime soon with no special terms or obligations, you should strongly consider pulling the trigger ASAP.
By seven Benjamins, the The OnePlus 9 Pro’s bang for your buck is pretty hard to match, let alone beat, with the 6.7-incher’s feature list, including a gorgeous Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 3216. x 1440 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate technology, as well as a 48MP primary shooter supported by an 8MP telephoto sensor and 50MP ultra-wide angle camera on the back of the handset, and of course, Android 12 software with OxygenOS goodies on top and at least two additional OS updates that will almost certainly come in due course.
In addition, for $700 you can buy a more than generous 12 gig of RAM in combination with an equally hefty internal storage space of 256 GB. There is simply no downside to this great deal.
