Google’s great Black Friday deals include hefty Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro discounts

Google is paving the way for the biggest shopping day of the year, officially revealing what’s in store for stock Android-loving bargain hunters coming November 17. That’s next Thursday, mind you, instead of the last Thursday of the month, meaning you’ll have plenty of time to complete your Christmas shopping well before Thanksgiving.

By far the most compelling US Google Store deals to be made available during the search giant’s undoubtedly extended Black Friday 2022 sale will see the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro drop to lower-than-ever prices of $499 and $799, respectively.
These are the first outright no-strings-attached, no-requirements, and no-gift discounts for the two “pure Google” phones released last month, cutting an almost surprisingly generous $100 and $150 off the regular starting prices of the company. 6.3 inch Pixel 7 and 6.7 inches Pixel 7 Pro.
Digital hoarders will have to wait and see what kind of discounts the non- 128GB storage configurations will get, though it seems reasonable to expect the exact same discounts across the board.
We’re also pretty sure these deals will be available at other retailers on or around Black Friday too, so if you prefer When shopping at Best Buy or Amazon, we definitely recommend keeping an eye out after November 17 (or even before that date).
For $499 and up, the “vanilla” Pixel 7 could be easy thebest affordable phone available this holiday season, sporting the same Tensor G2 processor as its big brother, while sporting a fairly smooth 90Hz AMOLED display and very capable dual rear cameras.
In turn, the Pixel 7 Pro is likely to be one of the best alternatives to Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra or Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max… at just $799, it definitely shines in the display and camera performance departments, while sporting a more refined design and (at least for now) smoother software experience than its predecessor.
The Pixel 7 and 7 Pro aren’t the only devices Google plans to offer a discount before Black Friday, although the rest of the company’s early holiday deals look a lot less exciting on paper, but also… strangely familiar:
  • Pixel 6a – $299 (down from $449)
  • Chromecast with Google TV (HD or 4K) – $19.99 and up (after $10 discounts)
  • Pixel Buds A Series – $64 (discounted from $99)
  • Nest Hub (2nd generation) – $49.99 (50 percent off)
  • Nest Thermostat – $89.99 (down from $129.99)
  • Nest Cam (battery) – $119.99 (after $60 off)
  • Nest Doorbell (battery) – $119.99 (down from $179.99)
