The Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro was originally supposed to launch on December 16, but that event has been pushed back to December 26. According to the Chinese regulatory body TENAA, there is a second variant of the Red Magic 8 Pro with a battery of 5000 mAh. It’s possible that the version with the larger battery is known as the Supreme or (stop me if you’ve heard this before) Ultra to differentiate it from the device with the smaller capacity battery.

Apart from being certified by TENAA, the phone also went through the 3C certification process known as China’s Compulsory Certification. The 3C certification shows that a device is safe to use and is comparable to the Underwriter’s Laboratory mark in the US.
