Apple’s Beats Fit Pro might be the ideal AirPods Pro alternative this Prime Day at a rare discount

There has certainly been no lack of great Prime Day 2022 deals on many of the most popular phones, tablets, smartwatches and wireless headphones out there, but when it comes to Amazon doesn’t seem to live up to the expectations of many Apple-loving bargain hunters out there…not yet.

The wildly successful (and often discounted) For example, AirPods Pro are currently available for a fairly routine $80 below their usual price of $250 for everyone, but Prime members can actually spend a little less than that on the equally impressive Beats Fit Pro with state-of-the-art active noise canceling technology.
Commercially released last fall instead of the highly anticipated AirPods Pro 2 (which probably will now) daylight this autumn), the Fit Pro are of course also made by Apple, featuring the same powerful internal H1 chip as the first-generation AirPods Pro.
Not exactly affordable by, say, Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 standards, these bad guys retail for $40 less than their regular price of $199.95 at the time of writing, in a total of four color options. We’re talking relatively simple “Beats Black” and “Beats White” shades, as well as flashier “Sage Grey” and especially “Stone Purple” paint jobs paired with a “pocket-sized” charging case in a contrasting color on the inside.

This case adds a whopping 18 hours to a solid battery life of 6 hours of continuous listening time (with ANC turned on at all times), and unlike the AirPods and AirPods Pro, the Beats Fit Pro has “flexible, secure fit” wingtips essentially your guaranteeing comfort and stability during said extended music sessions… and even your most intense and sweaty workouts with the added help of IPX4 water resistance.

With Spatial Audio and dynamic head-tracking support also on deck, the Fit Pro basically offers everything the AirPods Pro do… and more, which explains why this unimpressive-sounding $40 discount easily represents the highest previous price cut of Amazon beats (pun intended) from just $20.
