The Android 13 update is barely out in the form of Pixel 6 betas, but Samsung is already preparing for a test drive on its flagship Galaxy S22 series as soon as next month, reports SamMobile†
The Android 13 beta with One UI 5 update for the S22 models will come in the third week of July, Samsung insiders report. If last year’s Galaxy S21 update schedule is any indication, Galaxy S22 owners will be able to update to Android 13 almost simultaneously with Pixel phones as Google usually releases the final Android build to manufacturers in October.
In the meantime, those with an S22 Ultra or its siblings who want to see a preview of the new One UI 5 and Android 13 features can do so next month. Since Android 13 will arrive on Samsung phones a month earlier than last year, the rest of its flagships in the Fold and Flip lines are also likely to be updated to the latest Android and One UI version before the end of the year. .
The other cool option is themed icons that take the dominant color out of your wallpaper and paint all supported home screen icons accordingly, but we’re sure Samsung in turn will have a lot more visual changes to offer with One UI 5.0 too.
