A slew of upcoming Motorola phones are getting rock-bottom prices and colors

It’s no big secret that Motorola actually likes to keep busy announce a new phone (or two, or more) these days every few weeks or so, when you always have a full range of other Android devices in the pipeline.

The listed list mainly includes budget-friendly handsets that are willing to offer largely unparalleled value in markets such as the US, where Lenovo’s brand much to gain in the past year or so from LG’s shocking retirement in the industry.

Hot on the heels of the official Moto G42 and G62 5G announcements, as well as the big one Razr 3 Prices Reveal Earlier Today, Another Four (Mild) Interesting Motorola phones are now in the spotlight thanks to one of the most trusted leakers in the business.

The Edge family will soon have two (very different) new members

You may not remember this now, but last year was quite controversial Motorola Edge 20, Edge 20 Pro, and Edge 20 Lite was marketed by an upper-midrange Edge 20 Fusion that generated much less buzz.

That makes it unsurprising to hear that a Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is coming… sometime in 2022, although the lack of concrete information on this particular model is certainly a bit unusual.

The Edge 30 Fusion will (obviously) follow in the footsteps of the Edge 20 Fusion (shown here).

According to Steve H., aka @OnLeaksas initially Reported exclusively by CompareDialthe Edge 30 Fusion will cost €679 in “European markets” in a single shade of black and a single storage configuration of 128 GB also equipped with 8 gigabytes of RAM.

As Motorola’s mid-ranges go, that’s certainly a bit steep, and if the Edge 30 Fusion ever landed in the US, we’d expect it to cost significantly over $600. Of course, the Edge 20 Fusion was never officially released in the United States, meaning the sequel will likely follow a similar regional fate.

Still, we’re definitely curious what this mysterious villain will bring to the old continent, aside from the mandatory 5G connectivity and a rumored MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.

The arguably significantly cheaper Motorola Edge 30 Lite, meanwhile, isn’t a big question mark, almost certainly pairing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with a fast-charging 4,000mAh or so battery, while packing the exact same 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. like the Edge 30 Fusion… for a very reasonable price of €399.

Coated in silver, “moonless night” and “veri peri” (huh?), the Edge 30 Lite will also have 5G support, which probably means the camera is the main area where the Edge 30 Fusion has room to show its superiority. show and justify its rumored price.

Incredibly, the affordable Motorola Edge 30 Lite is tipped to also have a silky smooth 120Hz 6.28-inch OLED display, so if Steve Hemmerstoffer isn’t wrong about its €399 European starting price, we might be looking at a phenomenal contender for the title of best budget phone available in 2022 here.

Two ultra-low-cost devices are also in the works

In case the The Moto G42 feels too rich for your (European) blood, starting at €210, a slightly more modest Moto G32 is reportedly coming soon for a suggested retail price of … €229. Wait, that can’t be right.

With just 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32GB of storage, this silver-gray-colored low-to-mid-end device couldn’t possibly cost more than a 4 and 64 gig package. Moto G42 with an FHD+ AMOLED display also in tow.

Granted, the G32 is rumored to support 90Hz screen refresh rate technology, but the HD+ resolution of the 6.5-inch panel certainly hints at a price below $200.

The Moto E12, meanwhile, is almost guaranteed to be in that bracket, reportedly raking in no more than $139 with a, let’s not mince words, a horrendous 2GB RAM, 32 gigs of local digital hamster space, and “dark” and white color options. There’s no point in guessing how much (or how little) these dirt-cheap phones could cost in the US, as history clearly indicates no such release is planned.
