2-year-old ordered 31 McDonald’s burgers on mom’s phone; doesn’t seem to regret

A 2-year-old used his mother’s phone to order 31 McDonald’s cheeseburgers, reports CNN
The Texan Mother posted a photo of the little bastard and the 31 burgers and revealed that he got them through the DoorDash food delivery app.
To talk with CNNKelsey Golden, who works for a school, said that while transferring some pictures from her phone to her computer, her 2-year-old son Barrett took the handset off her.

Normally the toddler likes to see his reflection in the phone’s camera, but this time the toddler behaved differently, pressing the screen and waving the phone.

Shortly after, Golden received a notification that her DoorDash order was taking longer than usual. This was surprising since she hadn’t ordered anything for her two older school-age children that day.

It all became clear when a car pulled up in front of her house and handed her a large McDonald’s bag with 31 burgers. Then it occurred to her that Barret had placed the order. The suspicion was confirmed when she checked her phone.

Since Golden’s family isn’t a big fan of cheeseburgers, she gave them away for free. Barrett’s adventure cost her $91.70, including the 25 percent tip.

The post went viral and Barrett was invited to McDonald’s, where he met the company’s mascots and ate some nuggets.

These kinds of incidents are not unheard of. Small children often accidentally order things while playing with phones, and if you have children in the house and you want to prevent this from happening to you, it’s best to put parental controls on your phone. For example, you can set your phone to require a password to make purchases. If you own an iPhone, you can set Apple Pay as the default payment method, which uses Face ID to authenticate purchases.
